THE WRITER SPEAKS '11
WINNER'S CIRCLE!
On March 16, 2010 we began a festival of
ONE
ACTS to celebrate local CALIFORNIA playwrights
MANY of them are award
winners at other festivals throughout the world, published many times
over and even an
Academy Award Nominee!
Three Roses Players will present an evening of ONE ACT Plays in THE WRITER SPEAKS, his is the first time these plays have seen our stage.
At the end of each evening the AUDIENCE scores each play.
The top two plays of the night move into the Winner's Circle
and the 2 winning playwrights give me another one act to run with
their winning play
for another run!
It is a way to have our local playwrights be in the spotlight where
they deserve to be!
NOW WE ARE TAKING THESE plays GLOBAL.
The highest scoring plays will be converted into
screenplays and
made into short films by
our film production company
ONE IN THE CANNES PRODUCTIONS!
PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE THEATRE COMMUNITY!
